Integrity
Investigations' Skip Tracing Finds Anyone in Usually 24 Hours or Less
The Integrity
team of experienced, professional investigators use the latest industry databases
along with traditional investigation techniques.
No one can hide from us!
These are the same methods used
by some of America's most respected law enforcement agencies. We can find
ANYONE, anywhere, at any time. That gives you a true professional People Locate
you can't get from an automated instant search.
The problem with most location services, Intellius included, is they use mashed-up data mined from a random jumble of resources. Not only do we go much deeper, but we have access to other databases not available in instant Internet "background check" reports.
Additionally, our investigators know how to sift through, develop and exploit the amassed information in ways that only someone experienced in skip tracing can.
What does this mean for you? It means we find people that others can't. We will find the person you are looking for.
If a database and phone search doesn't turn up the person you are looking for, our team of investigators can hit the ground with an in-person field search. Interviews and traditional investigation techniques quickly find people not listed in any database. The result is YOU find the RIGHT person, right when you need them.
We often hear from new clients who
have spent $49 for another firm's automated search that turned up nothing.
Then the client has spent hours searching the Internet, still unable to locate
the person they are looking for. After the client comes to us, we can often
find the person within a matter of minutes. Clients quickly discover they
can save lots of time, frustration, and money by starting with us at Integrity Investigations.
* Nancy runs a law firm that
helps organizations collect large debts. Nancy's latest assignment is to find
a person who has simply disappeared. They moved with no forwarding address.
A staffer spends the entire morning searching the Internet. Finally, Nancy orders
a database search from an online firm, but that, too, turns up nothing. Next
Nancy contacts Integrity Investigations. We run an in-depth skip trace, covering databases
and using techniques others don't have, and quickly find the person within 15 minutes.
Nancy realizes her firm can save money and time by starting with Integrity Investigations. |
* Jason lost touch with his good
friend Paul. The two were in Desert Storm together, but went separate ways
upon returning home. Paul moved, Jason moved, both lost touch. Now Jason can
find no trace of Paul's whereabouts. His online searches using everything from
Google to low-cost database services turn up lots of people with the same name
and similar histories, but nothing Jason can depend on. Jason calls Integrity Investigations.
We discover Paul is a tough guy to find, but we locate him absolutely and definitely
within a couple of hours through database searches not available to the public
and several phone calls. |
* Mary gave up her baby for adoption
more than 30 years ago. She would like to know what happened to her daughter,
but doesn't want to interfere with her daughter's life. Integrity Investigations first
runs extensive database searches that suggest her daughter may be living in
a western US city. We contact trusted members of our investigative network in
that city. These professionals are able to quickly verify the daughters location.
As Mary wishes, our investigators are unknown and unseen by her daughter. Mary
settles years of worry by knowing her daughter is doing well. |

Skip Tracing FAQ
What is Skip Tracing?
Skip tracing, or performing what is sometimes called "a locate" is basically an investigative technique that involves locating or finding someone.
Some examples of where someone might employ a skip trace might be:
- An attorney or paralegal looking for a witness they need to talk to .
- Someone looking for an old high school friend or military buddy.
- • An example of a more in depth skiptrace might be an adoption situation. For instance a parent who gave someone up for adoption earlier in life who needs to make contact with their natural-born, adult son/daughter in order to pass on important medical information.
Why not just do the search myself?
In many cases, you can just do the search yourself. Most people that call us have already spent hours scouring the Internet and have spent $40 or $50 on an "instant" Internet search like Intellius.
If we don't find the person you're looking for at the first stage of our investigation, you can opt to back out and have your money refunded. That's our guarantee.
I like to use the analogy of broken down car...If my car breaks down, of course, I'm going to see if its something I can handle on my own, but if I can't figure out the problem relatively fast, I'm going to hire a mechanic...someone who can readily identify the problem, has the right tools to solve the problem and has the experience of dealing with that kind of specific issue.
What's involved in a skip trace?
Depending on the situation, a skip trace can involve just a few or many levels of investigation. We have two stages in our Skiptrace/Locate Investigations:
Stage 1: Office Investigation/Research:
Most locates start at this level, right from the office, using three things; the computer terminal, the Internet (access to all of our databases) and the telephone.
By combining these resources, along with knowing how to deal with people on the phone, we can usually confirm a person's whereabouts.
Stage 2: Field Work:
If we don't locate someone during Stage 1 of our investigative process, the next step depends on if the person we're looking for is local to our area. If they are, we head out into the field. This can involve a number of different investigative methods, including interviewing neighbors, conducting surveillance and other investigative techniques.
If the subject is not in our area, we will send an investigator out into the field who is local to the area where our inititial research has indicated they are probably living. We are networked in with local law enforcement and private investigators all over the world. Through our experience and networks, we know which investigators to stay away from and which ones are the best.
Do You Actually Physically Locate the Person?
In most cases, we can usually get some kind of confirmation of where the person is staying either online or right over the phone. In some cases, the our clients request a door-knock and physical confirmation-as well as maybe a photo or some video to confirm and document the subject's whereabouts.
Will the person being located know that someone is trying to locate them?
How we go about an assignment all depends on what our client's objectives are. Of course, if we have a plausible and non-threatening reason for the search that we can let out in the open, it can make a search much easier, but we can usually successfully complete most searches without letting on that a skip trace is being conducted if that is necessary (as long as the client does have a legitimate purpose for wanting to find the person)
That leads me to another important point, we will take measures to ensure that the person requesting the skiptrace is not a stalker. Please don't be offended if some questions are asked in regard to that when you call in the assignment...especially if you aren't already a regular client of ours.
What is your success rate?
Our success rate is very high. In fact, if we don't find the person you're looking for in the office-related stages of the skiptrace, you don't even have to pay for the service. However, we do have to charge for our services on an hourly basis once we start into a field investigation (Stage 2).
How long does it usually take to find someone?
It can take anywhere from 15 minutes all the way up to a week to locate a person. In most cases, it doesn't take longer than 24 hours. In some more difficult cases, depending on how long we have to wait for our sources to return with certain intelligence it can take longer.
What information will I have to provide you with to conduct a search?
As you can imagine, the more specific information the client can provide, the less difficult and more likely that the investigation can be successfully completed without going into the field. For starters, though, if available, the following are very helpful (The more information we have, the better chance and the faster we can usually find who we're looking for):
- Names, Aliases
- DOB/Approximant Age
- Social Security Number
- Last known addresses
- Family members/Other known associate and friends
- Other personal information
How do I get started?
